Description from the seller

Wedgwood “Edme” Serving Collection – 3 Pieces – Creamware – England – c. 1950s–1970s

A beautiful and highly collectible 3-piece Wedgwood “Edme” serving collection, expertly crafted in England in the celebrated Edme pattern. Introduced in 1908 and inspired by the refined elegance of 18th-century Queen’s Ware, the Edme pattern has become one of Wedgwood’s longest-running and most iconic designs, admired for its timeless simplicity, graceful fluted forms and understated sophistication.

Produced circa 1950s–1970s, this elegant collection showcases the exceptional craftsmanship for which Wedgwood is renowned. The striking ram’s head pedestal bowl is a distinctive centrepiece, featuring beautifully sculpted ram’s head handles inspired by classical design. Complementing it are a graceful covered tureen and a matching serving bowl, all finished in Wedgwood’s warm cream glaze. Their harmonious forms and refined detailing make this collection equally suitable for elegant table settings, display or a distinguished ceramic collection.

The lot comprises:

* 1 Ram’s Head Pedestal Bowl – 21 cm diameter × 9.5 cm high
* 1 Covered Tureen with Lid – 24.5 cm diameter × 14.5 cm high
* 1 Serving Bowl – 23 cm diameter × 11.5 cm high

Condition
Presented in excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful glossy cream glaze and only minimal signs of age and gentle use. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.

A timeless and elegant Wedgwood Edme collection that beautifully represents over a century of English ceramic craftsmanship. Combining classic design, exceptional quality and enduring collector appeal, this is a wonderful opportunity to acquire one of Wedgwood’s most celebrated patterns.
