This refined table piece features a circular mirror set within a silver-mounted frame, hallmarked with the Minerva head (2nd standard, 800/1000 silver), confirming its French origin. The design is sober and geometric, perfectly reflecting the aesthetic principles of the Art Deco movement.

The plateau rests on three small copper silver plated feet and is finished with a wooden underside, a traditional construction that ensures both stability and durability.

Originally intended as a surtout de table, this type of mirrored plateau was used to enhance table settings by reflecting light and showcasing fine glassware, silver pieces, or decorative objects.
