Splendid antique mirror from about 1850 in Anglo-Dutch style, crafted in a late 17th-century revival style in Holland and England. Beautiful, refined floral marquetry in a variety of woods, in the quality and spirit of the great furniture makers such as Jan van Mekeren. The mirror has no visible restorations and is in very good condition despite its age. The glass of the mirror has a lovely patina, which is typical for this type of antique mirrors.

Schitterende antieke spiegel uit ongeveer 1850 in Anglodutch stijl vervaardigd in een teruggrijpende stijl van de late 17e eeuw in Holland en Engeland. Prachtige verfijnde bloem marquetterie in diverse houtsoorten in de kwaliteit en geest van de grote meubelmakers zoals Jan van Mekeren. De spiegel heeft geen zichtbare restauraties en is in een zeer mooie staat ondanks zijn leeftijd. Het spiegelglas heeft een mooie verwering, wat bij dit soort antieke spiegels hoort.
