Set of 6 teaspoons of 999/1000 silver, made by Gerritsen in the Hollands Glad model.

This is a product that was produced for only a very short time by the silversmiths of Gerritsen Zeist: 999/1000 silver.
It is therefore virtually pure silver, supplemented with a minuscule (0.001) amount of other material to make the cutlery a bit sturdier.

This 999/1000 cutlery is offered only rarely and can serve both as a utilitarian item and as an investment asset.

The Gerritsen Company had special permission to bring this material to market. They received a separate hallmark in addition to the four Dutch standard marks: NLASSAY 999 office; see also the photos.

The four marks in addition to the 999 assay mark are the standing lion, master mark G*Z = Gerritsen Zeist, year letter J = 1993, and Minerva head.
