Voodoo cults are still alive and active today. They have managed to incorporate into their rituals and their cults elements from other cultures. This is one of the strengths of Voodoo: to evolve, adapt, and draw inspiration to always better satisfy the gods and spirits.
Here is an ancient European crucifix that was ritualized and incorporated into the cults. A magical charge is fixed to the fetish. This work has a troubling presence. The blue pigments make it unreal. This is an ancient and authentic Voodoo fetish. Circa 1960.
