Offered: A beautiful, authentic Acheulean hand axe (biface) from the Lower Paleolithic (Old Stone Age).
This prehistoric masterpiece is estimated to be between 1.3 million and 300,000 years old and was handmade in ancient times by an early hominid, such as Homo erectus or Homo ergaster.
This specific specimen originates from Morocco, a region worldwide known for its important Acheulean sites. The hand axe is compact and exhibits beautiful symmetry with clear prehistoric impact scars (bifacial flaking).
The object is equipped with an authentic, handwritten old collection label with the text "ACHEUL".
