Antique Architectural ornament - 1850-1900 - Chinese corner panel 32 cm

Antique Chinese intricately carved wooden corner panel from the second half of the 19th century (ca. 1850–1900). Richly carved with a traditional scene of an ox, a servant, and a high-ranking figure. Originally gilded and with a nicely patinated back.

This panel originally formed part of a larger architectural whole, such as an altar, furniture, or temple interior.
