Coffee table - Wood, Glass

Low mid-century style coffee table, with a solid wood frame characterized by tapered, slightly inclined legs that give the piece dynamism and visual lightness. At the upper corners there are small visible wooden blocks, a construction detail typical of 1950s–60s productions and an indicator of careful workmanship.

The top is made of transparent glass, under which a velvet-finished panel in amber/honey color is applied. This decorative solution, very common in the period, adds depth of color and a warm, tactile effect without sacrificing the glass’s lightness. The top sits slightly inset relative to the frame, creating an elegant play of solid and voids.

Conditions: generally good condition. The velvet panel shows a circular mark visible in backlight, a sign of time and use, which does not compromise the table’s stability or functionality.
