Pentax K1000 + smc-A 2/50mm | Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

From Pentax in Japan, this used K1000 camera + Asahi SMC Pentax-A 50mm 1:2 lens with serial number 5996263 and with lens cap

The K1000, introduced in 1976, is part of Asahi Optical's Pentax K-series 35mm SLR cameras.
It features a horizontal focal-plane shutter with speeds from 1/1000 of a second to 1 second, along with Bulb and a flash X-sync of 1/60 second.
This camera is used by many photography students. Everything is manual to set, after all. A wide range of lenses (PK mount and, with an adapter, also M42) and film (small format: 35mm, i.e., Type 135).

The camera works well but has a small crack at the top.
