Are you looking for a unique heirloom with character and history? This stately antique floor clock is a splendid example of Belgian craftsmanship from the late 19th century. The dial is signed by the renowned clockmaker E. Foulon à St. Jean de Mol (Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels), which attests to a rich Brussels history.
Features:
Maker: E. Foulon, a respected clockmaker from the industrial heart of 19th-century Brussels.
Period: Circa 1860–1890 (Eclectic style).
Case: Robust, hand-carved case of high-quality oak with a warm patina that suits any interior.
Dial: Authentic enamel dial with classic Roman numerals and refined details.
Movement: Equipped with a classic mechanical movement with a clear, single-note chime on every quarter.
Condition:
The clock is in excellent antique condition. The woodwork is well maintained and the mechanism has been recently serviced and is complete with chains and weights.
A winding key is of course included as well.
