Description from the seller
Offered is a very complete and charming Toyoca 16 subminiature camera, produced around 1955 by the Japanese Tougodo. This type of camera, also known as "Hit-style" or espionage camera, uses 17.5 mm film. This lot is especially interesting for collectors due to the high degree of completeness. The camera is supplied including the original cardboard box with blue lettering, the paper manual, film, an extra lens attachment piece and a tripod as well as the accompanying metal loose spool caps.
Condition of the object:
Cosmetic: In very nice vintage condition with minimal signs of wear (see photos for an accurate personal impression).
Mechanical: The shutter is working and clicks well. The transport/advance knob rotates smoothly. Lens/Viewfinder: The lens and viewfinder are optically clear.
Note: Given the age of these miniature devices, they are sold as collector and display objects; the exact mechanical accuracy or photographic function has not been tested on film. Please view the photos carefully for a good personal impression of the cosmetic condition of the cameras and any accessories and packaging
