Aegoceras maculatum, from the Early Jurassic, Pliensbachian of France, about 190 million years old.
It measures 7 cm in diameter.
This ammonite of very high quality with its imprint has preserved its living chamber, is exposed to the center and has retained a large part of its original shell.
It is mounted on a natural rock base serving as a stand.
No restoration, natural color.
