Questa cornice presenta le caratteristiche tipiche dello stile guilloché (o a "onde"), un design classico spesso associato alla tradizione fiamminga o olandese.  È realizzata in legno ebanizzato (tinto di nero per imitare l'ebano) con una lavorazione geometrica a rilievo, centralmente su tutti e quattro i lati c’è un inserto in finta radica decorato a mano. Realizzata in Italia alla fine dell’800. In ottime condizioni di conservazione con qualche segno normale per l’età.
