Two very fine bronze Empire candlesticks. The candlesticks rest on heavy triangular pedestals with richly decorated foliate motifs and claw feet. The fluted stem is crowned by gracefully curved arms with decorative bird- or swan-shaped motifs and engraved candle holders. Thanks to their grand dimensions and rich ornamentation, they form an impressive decorative ensemble, suitable for a classical or historic interior. Each candlestick accommodates four candles. 
The lot is carefully packed and sent by registered mail. Photos accompany this description.

Twee zeer fraaie bronzen, Empire kandelaren. De kandelaars rusten op zware driehoekige voetstukken met rijk gedecoreerde bladmotieven en klauwpoten. De gecanneleerde stam wordt bekroond door sierlijk gebogen armen met decoratieve vogel- of zwanenvormen en gegraveerde kaarshouders. Dankzij de royale afmetingen en rijke ornamentiek vormen zij een indrukwekkend decoratief ensemble, geschikt voor een klassiek of historisch interieur. Elke kandelaar biedt plek aan vier kaarsen.
