Ancient Egyptian Faience Sphinx Amulet (No reserve price)

Ancient Egyptian blue glazed faience amulet of a seated Sphinx. Depicted with characteristic Nubian style hair divided into four tresses, with leonine body. The 'Nubian' hair style was worn by young women in connection with birth, nursing babies and applying cosmetics.
