Description from the seller
Title: In Ruins (2026) – Original Mixed Media Architectural Texture Artwork
"There is a strange, breathtaking majesty in what remains."
'In Ruins' is a profound visual exploration of a city—or a soul—shattered by time and circumstance. Built with heavy, textured dark compound to create the jagged edges of broken columns and fallen walls, the center represents a visceral landscape in collapse.
But through the lens of Wabi-Sabi, destruction is never the final word. By bleeding rich coffee gradients and explosive gold leaf into the fractures, the canvas captures the sublime beauty of endurance. The city may be in ruins, but its history is sacred, and its spirit remains unyielding.
