Description from the seller

Oil painting by Ida Calzolari (born 1936, Florence). Ida Calzolari is a world-renowned Italian painter who has alone produced 12 paintings for Ronald Reagan, as well as paintings for the Italian Embassy in Tehran and Washington, D.C. and for the Ferragamo family.
Ida Calzolari runs her studio in Florence, together with her daughter, and comes from an artist family from Venice.
She specializes in the restoration of Flemish and Dutch Renaissance paintings and uses for her pictures, just as for this oil painting offered here, the techniques of the 16th and 17th centuries.
This oil painting (oil on canvas), presumably a self-portrait by van Eyck ("Mann mit Turban"), is a copy of the original made by Ida Calzolari.
The original measures 19 x 25.5 cm, the Calzolari painting measures 24 x 30 cm, with a frame about 45 x 41 cm.
The frame is made of wood and hand-made and painted in Florence.
