Unguentarium in colorless translucent glass with a bulbous body, flat base, and long cylindrical neck, dating to the 1st–3rd century AD; in excellent condition, dimensions 122 x 68 x 68 mm; provenance from the D.A. Brussels collection and acquired in 2022 from Belgium.
Description from the seller
Translucent colorless glass unguentarium featuring a bulbous body with a flattened base. It has a long cylindrical neck tightened at the base, as well as a flattened lip folded inward.
The bottle shows light traces of iridescence ranging from silver to gold, with an iridescence of blue-silver at the neck and on the outer part of the lip. Earthy deposits present on the inner part of the glass.
