A substantial and authentic early 20th-century ship's navigation lantern, dating to circa 1900–1930. Constructed from heavy cast metal and fitted with its original Fresnel glass lens, original removable red navigation sector, internal brass glare shield, and original oil burner, this is a remarkably complete example of a working maritime lantern.
