Pair of Gaetano Sciolari wall sconces for Stilkronen – Italy, 1970s.
Pair of wall lamps produced in Italy in the 1970s by Stilkronen on design by Gaetano Sciolari.
The design features a metal framework supporting pressed glass elements of thick gauge, a distinctive characteristic of Sciolari productions of the era. The lamps retain the original manufacturer labels.
Designer: Gaetano Sciolari.
Manufacturer: Stilkronen.
Period: 1970s.
Materials: Brass and leaded glass.
In generally good vintage condition with the usual signs of time and age. The original structure is in gilded brass, still in excellent condition, the gilding is deteriorated in several points and shows the patina of time.
The glass is original and in perfect condition; there are no chips or scratches.
Technical note: Original electrical system from the era; a professional inspection is recommended before installation.
