This chair is characterized by exuberant wood carving and turned elements. Made from oak or walnut with a deep, dark patina that emphasizes its age.

The backrest and seat feature a fine cane weave (canework), framed by detailed carving of floral motifs and scrolls. The cane of the seat has a minor damage.

The stiles of the backrest, the armrests, and the legs are executed in the distinctive turned form (barley twist).

The armrests are upholstered with red velvet on the elbow supports for extra luxury and comfort.

The chair is in good antique condition. It shows the usual signs of age that contribute to its authentic character. There is a minor damage in the seat canework.

Deze stoel wordt gekenmerkt door uitbundig houtsnijwerk en gedraaide elementen. Vervaardigd uit eikenhout of walnoot met een diepe, donkere patina die de ouderdom accentueert.

De rugleuning en zitting zijn voorzien van een fijn rieten vlechtwerk (canework), omlijst door gedetailleerd snijwerk van floraal motief en krullen. Het riet van de zitting heeft een minieme beschadiging. 
De stijlen van de rugleuning, de armleuningen en de poten zijn uitgevoerd in de karakteristieke gedraaide vorm (barley twist).
Armleuningen zijn voorzien van rode fluwelen stoffering op de elleboogsteunen voor extra luxe en comfort. 

De stoel verkeert in een goede antieke staat. De stoel heeft de normale ouderdomssporen die bijdragen aan het authentieke karakter. Er is een minieme beschadiging in het vlechtwerk van de zitting.
