Silver drachm from Dyrrhachium in Illyria, circa 229–200 BC, struck under magistrates Meniskos and Aukiskos, weight 2.76 g, diameter 1.7 cm, obverse showing a cow suckling her calf with a female deity in the right field and the legends MENIΣKOΣ, reverse with a double stellate pattern and ΔΥΡ AY-KIΣ-KOY, authentic/original; provenance Ex London Art Market with acquisition in 2000 from a private collection.

A fine silver drachm from Dyrrhachium in Illyria, struck under magistrates Meniskos and Aukiskos. The obverse features a cow, standing right, suckling her calf with her head lowered towards the calf. A statute of a female deity features in the right field. The legend reads MENIΣKOΣ. The reverse displays a double stellate pattern and a legend which reads ΔYΡ AY-KIΣ-KOY. The coin was minted after 229 BC.
