This coin was minted in Saint Petersburg, as indicated by the monogram “BC” (ВC in Cyrillic) on the reverse. It is a silver piece in imperial style, with the coat of arms of the Romanov dynasty and the arms of the various territories of the Russian Empire. Although minted during the midst of World War I, its uncirculated state means it is highly sought after by collectors of Russian coins from the Tsarist period.
