For sale is a rare historical Ernemann Tropen-Heag X plate camera, presumably in the 9×12 cm format, from around 1912–1925.
The camera features a high-quality tropical wood housing with brass fittings, brown bellows, baseboard, ground-glass back, and several original wooden cassettes. An old wooden case is also included.
The lens is labeled Ernemann-Dresden. The camera has a central shutter with times/adjustment scale. According to current classification it is the tropical version of the HEAG X, but explicitly without any warranty as to complete model determination.
Condition:
The camera is in an age-appropriate, collectible condition with visible signs of use, patina, scratches and age-related marks on wood, brass and case. The bellows appear well preserved. The baseboard and draw can be moved. The lens, aperture and shutter have been checked to the best of our knowledge and appear functional, but a photographic test with plates/film has not been conducted.
The scope of delivery includes:

* 3 wooden cassettes
* old wooden case
* everything visible in the pictures
The key to the case is missing.
