Officer's travel clock in brass with case, key and original manual – Late 19th century – To be restored
Beautiful brass officer's travel clock, dating from the late 19th century (circa 1880-1900). It features an elegant rectangular glass-fronted case on all four sides, with a retractable handle on the top for easy transport.
The white enamel dial with Roman numerals is complemented by a small setting dial. The mechanical movement is visible through the side and rear glass panels, highlighting the craftsmanship.
This clock is offered with its original transport case, its winding key, and its period adjustment instructions, a set that has become relatively rare on the collectibles market.
The item is sold as needing restoration. The movement requires a complete overhaul and its operation is not guaranteed. The case shows a fine old patina with signs of use and oxidation consistent with its age. Photos are an integral part of the description.
