Description from the seller
This antique opera glass is a Busch Multinett D.R.P. from Emil Busch A.G. Rathenow, probably dating from around 1920.
The housing consists of zinc-plated brass with striking, variegated mother-of-pearl inlays.
The designation D.R.P. stands for "Deutsches Reichspatent," indicating its historical origin.
Note the alternating shading on the mother-of-pearl.
The eyecups are fitted with Bakelite.
Only on one is there a barely noticeable chipping.
However, this does not impair functionality in any way!
Focusing via the central wheel is butter-smooth and easy.
Clear view—no scratches or mold.
The body is made of zinc-plated brass and Bakelite. No patina. Beautiful shine.
The listed dimensions refer to the extended glass—approximately!
Overall in excellent condition!
