Description from the seller

1970 CHEVROLET CAMARO 355 V8 Automatic

GENERAL:
This Camaro is in very good condition and is equipped with the beloved 350 V8 in combination with the 350 automatic and console shifter. A true classic that will appeal to every enthusiast or collector, as it is the first year of manufacture with the shark nose front.

BODYWORK & PAINT:
The body is tight and has the correct gaps all around. The paint is a good EU finish with here and there light imperfections, but entirely fitting for an honest classic of this age.

TECHNICAL:
Under the hood sits a 350 that has been bored 0..3 and is now a very powerful 355 V8, paired with the smooth 350 automatic transmission. There is a horsepower figure in the documents and it indicates well over 430 hp. The car is also equipped with a limited slip differential (LSD), the so-called rear differential. This drivetrain provides a reliable and enjoyable driving experience, exactly as a sporty yet classic Camaro should be. The car features disc brakes, which not only accelerate strongly but also stop exceptionally well. The exhaust system is equipped with a double exhaust, giving the car a deep and sporty V8 sound. All in all, the mechanics are in excellent condition and the Camaro is ready to drive and enjoy right away.

INTERIOR:
The interior is finished in the original and stylish black bucket seats. Both the seats, door panels and carpeting are in a good, used condition. The whole feels comfortable, fresh and fitting the classic look of this Camaro.

DOCUMENTS:
Comes with Swedish license plate / EU papers. On request we can arrange export papers for you.

PICKUP:
To be picked up in consultation in Appingedam, transport can possibly be arranged.

OTHER INFORMATION:
The car sits on Torque Trust–like wheels, really old school, with nice Spinners that fit well within the era and complete the right classic look. A unique opportunity to acquire a real sharknose Chevrolet Camaro V8 in good condition with a very fast engine, finished in the beloved Hugger Orange with black interior. An icon that is not only a solid investment but also guarantees pure driving pleasure!

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
