A beautiful and increasingly rare set of original safety lamps from the 1960s and early 1970s. These characteristic emergency lamps were at the time a standard part of motorists’ safety equipment. Even before the danger triangle became mandatory in many countries, such flashing lamps were used to make a stranded car visible in case of breakdown or an accident.
This set consists of two different versions from well-known manufacturers:
BEREC Autolamp – Made in England. A versatile safety lamp with a bright white work light on the front and an orange warning light on top. The two slide switches allow easy selection between the different light functions.
SONCA All-Transistorised – Made in Hong Kong. A robust safety lamp equipped with a large orange lens and a switch to choose between continuous illumination or flashing light ("Steady Light" and "Blink Lite").
