6 Ore di Vallelunga - Elio De Angelis - 1994 - Replica helmet

It is the helmet-shaped (full-size) commemorative trophy awarded on the occasion of the “6 Hours of Vallelunga - Elio De Angelis Trophy” held on October 29-30, 1994. The helmet faithfully reproduces the famous livery and the signature of the late Formula 1 driver Elio De Angelis.
The value of the lot is further enhanced by important official Ferrari documentation attesting to its provenance and historicity.

Ferrari Cover Letter: An official document on Ferrari letterhead (Maranello, November 8, 1994), signed by the then President and CEO Luca di Montezemolo, addressed to the winners Luciano Dalla Noce and Anders Olofsson to congratulate them on the “269 laps of Vallelunga” which brought a new success to the team’s palmarès.
