A large square vase with a loosely scalloped top and free-form handles.
This typical Art Nouveau vase is matte-glazed in bronze-brown, fading upward to pink-brown with a wash of gold and a decoration of enamelled white flowers.
The inside of the vase is soft blue.
The vase dates from around 1880 and is very likely French; it could be Limoges or Saint-Amand.

Een grote vierkantige vaas met los geschubte bovenkant en oren in vrije vorm. Deze typisch art- nouveau vaas is mat geglazuurd in bronsbruin naar boven aflopend tot rosébruin met een zweem van goud en een decoratie van geëmailleerde witte bloemen.
De binnenkant van de vaas is zachtblauw.
De vaas dateert van plusminus 1880 en is zeer waarschijnlijk Frans, kan Limoges of st. Amand zijn.
