Orange apple, liberation vase, pressed-glass form, invented by N.V. Glasfabriek Leerdam. In 1945, to celebrate the liberation, the most famous orange vase was designed by A.D. Copier; the so-called Liberation Vase. This urn-shaped vase with a deeply indented neck, unlike the other orange vases which are mouth-blown, was manufactured mechanically.
