Beautiful wall lamp with 10 lights, made in bronze (gold‑plated and patinated bronze) and likely dating from 1830–1870 in a mid‑19th‑century French/Italian style, handcrafted with curved arms and acanthus ornament, dimensions 52 cm high, 35 cm wide, 25 cm deep, 4 kg in weight, origin Italy, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Beautiful wall sconce or wall lamp, 10 lights, probably made between Italy or France toward the middle of the 19th century. Structure in gilded and patinated bronze, handcrafted. The arm of the single light point channels to a bronze plate mounted inside a bronze frame, diamond-shaped geometrically, embossing and chasing by hand, typical French workmanship of the Louis-Philippe period. Curved arms with acanthus leaves at the ends. Candlestick holder and wax-repoussé collectors (wax catchers) chased.
Height without the candle holder upper 45 cm (photo no. 7).
