Louis Nagelkerke (Eindhoven, February 3, 1949) has been working since 1980 as a professional artist. Louis is a versatile artist and never without inspiration or new ideas. Movement, beauty and mysticism are characteristic of his artworks. Musicians, dancers and female dancers are often his interests. People from the theater are also often his models. The subjects for his work are as varied and rich as life itself. Louis Nagelkerke is especially known for his very realistic depictions of people, "bringing out the beauty in people and animals." That is the artist's creed, who with his paintings wants to make the world more beautiful. He is able to accurately paint the essence of the image in pose and atmosphere.
