Description from the seller

China, a gilt-bronze partridge with cloisonné enamel, Qing dynasty, Jiading period (1796/1820).
Depicted standing on its legs, head turned to the side, black plumage contrasting with the varied colors of the wings, which form the lid.
Damages and losses (missing left spur, slight indentation at the rear for the main parts...).
