Dial and Hands
The stunning and pristine silver linen textured dial remains in outstanding condition. The applied gold-tone indices feature black inserts and present cleanly against the textured surface. All printing is crisp and fully intact, with no visible spotting, staining, or moisture damage to detract from the dial character. The gold-tone baton hands also feature black inserts and match the excellent preservation of the dial, showing only minimal signs of oxidation or wear. The luminous plots are intact, displaying a consistent aged tone across the dial.
Case and Crystal
The C-shape case retains strong geometry and a well-preserved brushed finish across its upper surfaces. The case shows light superficial scratches consistent with careful wear. The gold-tone fluted bezel maintains sharp definition with minimal wear or softening of the fluting. On the reverse, the crisp solid gold observatory medallion is beautifully defined with all stars clearly visible, alongside clear and legible interior caseback markings. The signed gold-tone knurled crown presents a clearly visible and well-defined Omega logo. A clear domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, displaying no major scratches, crazing, or chips.
Movement
Inside the case is the Omega Caliber 751 automatic chronometer movement, featuring 24 jewels and adjusted to five positions and temperature. The copper-colored plating remains bright and intact, with no visible signs of corrosion, moisture damage, or significant scratches. The screws and jewels appear in good condition. The timegrapher records -9-12s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

The watch is fitted with a complementary brown leather strap featuring contrast stitching. The strap shows light signs of wear and creasing.

Excellent vintage condition. The silver linen dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved. The C-shape case retains its brushed finishes and strong lines, exhibiting only light superficial scratches from careful use. The gold-tone fluted bezel and solid gold caseback medallion remain sharp and clearly defined. The movement presents beautifully clean surfaces and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly.
Dimensions
The case measures 35 mm, excluding the crown.
Remarks
This Constellation is distinguished by its magnificent silver linen dial and the crisp preservation of its solid gold observatory medallion. The combination of the Gerald Genta-designed C-shape case and the fluted bezel makes this a particularly attractive and highly sought-after configuration.
History
The Omega Constellation was introduced in 1952 as the brand flagship chronometer, designed to showcase Omega precision watchmaking capabilities. In the 1960s, the line evolved with the introduction of the C-shape case, famously penned by designer Gerald Genta. This distinctive design language, characterized by its integrated lug structure and elegant proportions, became a defining look for the era. The Caliber 751 movement further elevated the model line by introducing a day-date complication while maintaining rigorous chronometer certification standards, cementing the Constellation status as a premium and highly capable daily wearer.
