Beautiful round bowl from the renowned Émaux de Longwy manufactory, executed in hand-painted cloisonné enamel on a characteristic turquoise crackled ground. The decoration consists of a richly stylized floral motif in vibrant shades of blue, red, yellow and green, framed by a dark blue border.
The underside bears the original Longwy coat of arms with the inscription Émaux de Longwy – France, as well as the decor code D.792, the shape code and the atelier number. This is an authentic French collectible object that beautifully illustrates the traditional Longwy enamel technique.
