Märklin set of two locomotives in H0 scale, SET800 and TM800, in defective condition for hobbyists; AC power supply, analog control, packaging without original packaging, includes bulbs and a screw.
Description from the seller
Interesting set consisting of two old Märklin locomotives in a faulty condition. The function has been tested (see photos/test track). The E-locomotive SET800 runs, but is a little noisy. The switch works. The housing is loose because a screw is broken and presumably a new thread must be cut there (see photos). The bulbs and one screw from the housing are included. The housing is only loosely mounted. The bulbs have not been tested. Therefore, the function of the bulbs cannot be guaranteed. Assembling with bulbs requires some skill. The small black TM800 locomotive only twitches and does not move (it is stuck). The lever for the switch on the housing seems to be missing. The switch is audible when toggled and seems to work. Additionally, a coupling at the front is missing and there are various cosmetic defects or signs of wear on both locomotives. Due to the necessary revision and repair, the set is sold as hobbyist merchandise. With a bit of dedication, there is still a lot to be gained from the two locomotives. See for yourself the quality based on the numerous pictures.
