Marantz, Mordouant Short - LS2400 Speaker set

The Marantz LS2400 is an older set of passive hi-fi speakers from the Marantz line, introduced around the early 2000s. In that period Marantz worked closely with the British speaker manufacturer Mordaunt-Short, resulting in several speakers released under the Marantz name, based on Mordaunt-Short's expertise.

In the design, the emphasis was on a solid cabinet construction, controlled resonances, and a neutral to slightly warm sound reproduction. The focus was on a natural and balanced listening experience, rather than on exaggerated marketing claims or artificially boosted bass and treble reproduction, as is the case with many modern speakers.
