Untreated Abelisaurus tooth fossil from the Kem Kem Beds in Morocco, dating to the Cretaceous period (Upper Cretaceous Cenomanian, about 100.5–66 million years ago), with scientific name Abelisaurus, a single specimen weighing 65 g and measuring 32 mm high, 12 mm wide and 6 mm deep, officially authentic.

Fossil. An Abelisaurus dinosaur tooth.
Fossil: This perfectly preserved very large tooth comes from a theropod in the group Abelisaurians, a group of carnivorous dinosaurs. They were characterized by their extremely short forelimbs, short, deep faces, small sharp teeth, and strong muscular hind legs.
This tooth comes from an as yet undescribed Abelisaurid species from the Kem Kem beds of Morocco.
So far, probably only two Abelisaurid species have been found in Morocco's Kem Kem Beds. One Abelisaurid (Rugops primus) was named after the Echkar Formation of Niger.
Era? Cretaceous Cenomanian about 100 million years
This tooth shows very fine, sharp serrations along both edges.
