Art Deco tray, made by WMF in Germany.
Once, in 1932, given as a token of appreciation to Joseph Cristina,
for 30 years of loyal service.
The tray is heavily silver-plated; see the stamped hallmark 1/0. but it does have some
signs of wear from the passage of time, after all it is 94 years old.
There is also unfortunately a ring visible, see photo.
The design is beautiful, with a refined edge around and
special handles with acanthus leaves.
The measurements are as follows:
Length 52.5 cm, width 28.5 cm and thickness 1.5 cm
It is a lovely item, and nice because of the engraving.
Weight 966 grams.
