Description from the seller

-- "Beautiful, characterful Tibetan rug of the finest wool in unused top condition"
-- Professionally cleaned*
-- ≈ 60,000 knots per m²
-- With Certificate

*Before arriving at our warehouse, cleaned at a laundry specialized in hand-knotted rugs, then never used again.

This is a hand-knotted Oriental carpet, made from durable, natural materials. The knotting method and diversity of patterns make this piece unique and emphasize its authentic and artisanal character. It concerns an excellent used rug with an extremely long lifespan.

This is an unused, cleaned rug that can be laid down as is. This beautiful Tibetan rug is hand-knotted with the finest, undyed wool from sheep in the high Tibetan region. This wool is naturally extra greasy due to the cold temperatures (it acts as insulation for sheep). When used in carpets, this not only provides a stunning, extra sheen but also serves as a natural protective layer. Wool of higher quality is (almost) not to be found. Natural variation in color is visible, due to the wool not being bleached before the first dye bath. This gives the rug an authentic appearance and contributes to the character of this rug that is full of stories.

Main color: Sand
Accent colors: -
Special features: Rich abrash (natural color variations); Much lustre; Beautiful clean and fresh; Full, thick and sound-absorbing rug; Gorgeous sheen; Depending on viewing angle, this rug has a lighter and a darker side; New & unused; Quality wool.
