This magnificent piece is a completely hand-woven wool carpet produced in the Demirci district of Manisa. It has both functional and decorative value with its large size of 269 x 183 cm.

Material: Pure wool – natural, durable and warm

Technique: Hand-woven – embroidered with traditional Turkish knot

Origin: Demirci, Manisa, Türkiye

Motifs: Classic geometric and floral patterns of Anatolia, vibrant color palette

Condition: Very good – cleaned, ready for use

Period: mid-20th century (approximately)
