Penfold Golf - Advertising sign - He played a Penfold - Polyester

A distinctive and decorative promotional figure for Penfold Golf, featuring the well-known inscription "He Played a Penfold" on the pedestal. This humorous figure was used as a promotional display for Penfold golf balls and is today a beloved collectible among golf memorabilia and vintage advertising enthusiasts. The figure is made from painted composite/resin and is finished entirely by hand. The characteristic golfer with a cap, checkered outfit gives the piece a lot of character and makes it a real eye-catcher. The pipe is unfortunately no longer included. It is an original vintage piece with normal signs of use for its age. In several places there is light paint wear and craquelure visible (see photos). Overall, the figure is in a nice, representative condition.
