Harvey Guzzini - Chandelier - Plastic

We are offering for sale an iconic Space Age pendant lamp designed in 1968 by Studio 6G, an internal design team at the manufacturing company, namely Harvey Guzzini. The Bud model pendant was produced in Italy from 1973 to 1986 and, with its futuristic design, typical of the Space Age era, has become one of the most sought-after lighting pieces among 20th-century design collectors. The structure of this pendant consists of a transparent thermoformed acrylic spherical cap with a satin finish, and a semi-circular diffuser in transparent thermoformed acrylic supported by a chromed metal ring glued to the main body. In addition to these three parts are other beautiful chrome metal details and a semi-spherical white acrylic rosette. Bud hangs from the ceiling to a length of 80 cm, but the dimensions of the central body are 40 cm high by 40 cm in diameter. The fixture is fully functional. It shows minimal signs of use and age, as shown in the photos.
