Driade presents Millepiedi, a new bench with a playful and versatile soul created by Studio Catoir, inspired by the archetype of the three-legged milking stool. The multiplication of legs spontaneously evokes the actual image of a centipede and emphasizes the beauty of the natural material, wood, and the artisanal craftsmanship required to create and assemble the various elements. The final result is a bench that weaves aesthetics and surprise.

Millepiedi features five seats and evenly spaced ground supports, made entirely of solid ash wood in the ebony “open pore” finish (visible grain). It is suitable for indoor use only, and it is also possible to combine multiple benches together.

Driade presenta Millepiedi, una nuova panca dall'anima giocosa e versatile creata da Studio Catoir, ispirata dall'archetipo dello sgabello a tre gambe per mungitura. La moltiplicazione delle gambe evoca spontaneamente l'effettiva immagine di un millepiedi ed enfatizza la bellezza del materiale naturale quale è il legno e del lavoro artigianale chiesto per creare ed assemblare i vari elementi. Il risultato finale è una panca che intreccia estetica e sorpresa.

Millepiedi conta cinque sedili ed appoggi a terra intervallati, realizzata interamente in massello di frassino nella finitura ebanizzata "a poro aperto" (venatura visibile). È adatta all'uso esclusivo in ambient interni, ed è inoltre possibile modulare tra di loro più panche insieme.
