[Practical Shooter / Digital Tested] CANON LENS FD 135mm f/2.5

■ Overview

This is the CANON LENS FD 135mm 1:2.5, originally released in the early 1970s.
Known for its fast f/2.5 aperture and beautiful bokeh, this classic medium telephoto prime lens is a very popular choice for portrait photography. It can be easily adapted to modern mirrorless cameras (like Sony E-mount) with an appropriate, inexpensive adapter.

■ Condition

・Appearance: Relatively Clean Vintage Condition.

It is relatively clean overall. There are some minor scratches and normal dirt due to its age.
Please carefully review the attached photos to check the exact cosmetic condition.

・Optics: Practical Condition.

No fungus.
No haze.
It looks clean under normal fluorescent light, but there are some fine scratches (cleaning marks) and visible dust inside when checked under a strong LED light.
However, I have practically tested this lens on a digital mirrorless camera (Sony NEX-3) with an adapter, and I can confirm that these minor optical flaws do NOT affect the final images at all. It is fully usable for daily shooting.

・Functional: Good Working Order.

The helicoid (focus ring) moves smoothly without any issues.
The aperture ring works perfectly and smoothly.
The aperture blades are clean, snappy, and work perfectly.
