Mid‑century German industrial three‑leg workshop stool with a green metal frame and a yellow‑beige faux leather seat, in moderate condition with wear and possible missing small parts.
Description from the seller
Vintage industrial workbench stool (3-legged) – probably Germany – Mid-Century (1950s/1960s)
For sale is an original, three-legged workbench stool from the Mid-Century era (approx. 1950s to 1960s). This stool impresses with its functional industrial design and its striking visual presence.
The sturdy metal frame is painted in the original Reseda green. The round, padded seat surface is covered with yellow-beige faux leather (Skai). Thanks to the three outward-extending legs, the stool offers optimal stability.
Condition:
The stool is in an authentic original condition with pronounced patina. The metal frame shows charming, age-related paint flaking and light rust, which perfectly underscores the rugged industrial look. The cover has a small defect at the edge (piping) (see photos), but is otherwise stable. A perfect piece for lovers of the industrial style that can be used immediately as an eye-catcher or carefully restored.
Details:
- Era: Mid-Century (1950s / 1960s)
- Style: Industrial design / Loft
- Origin: Very likely Germany (based on the typical construction and the original coating in the classic industrial green RAL 6011; however, due to lack of marking, this cannot be finally guaranteed).
- Material: Metal, faux leather (Skai), padding
- Color: Green / Yellow-Beige
- Height: approx. 55 cm
- Seat diameter: approx. 30 cm
- Base footprint: approx. 41 cm
The stool comes from a smoke-free home.
