Bodywork and Paint
Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior from 1971 in splendid preserved condition. The car is completely original, never restored, always stored in a garage and owned by only two owners. The bodywork and the paint present in overall excellent condition, with a shine that remains very uniform.
There are a few aesthetic defects consistent with the vehicle’s age, all documented in the photographs: a light scratch on the chrome rear bumper; a small localized touch-up imperfection on the rear panel; a slight dent on the chrome molding along the edge of the roof; some superficial rust spots and pinpricks on the chrome windscreen moldings and on the interior door handles; a thin scratch on the side glass; slight dulling and small micro-cracks (craquelure) of the paint in the front area of the hood, typical of aging on a historic paint finish; a slight orange-peel texture/localized finish irregularity in the front of the hood.
No accidents, structural repairs, or welding interventions are known.
Technical condition
Original 1,290 cc engine and original gearbox, both perfectly functioning. The car starts and runs immediately, starting reliably both cold and hot and offering smooth driving, with the gearbox and clutch functioning regularly. It has always been carefully maintained.
Occasionally there may be a microscopic oil leak, typical for a historic car over fifty years old, which in no way compromises proper operation.
Interior condition
The interiors are original and well-preserved, in keeping with the car’s age and history. The seats, door panels, dashboard, and coverings are original and in excellent condition. The instrumentation and main electrical controls are functioning.
The side glass shows a thin scratch visible against the light, which does not affect visibility or functionality.
Documentation
The car is registered in Italy and is accompanied by Italian registration documents. It is ASI registered. Detailed photographs of the car, the interior, the engine bay, the underbody, and the documentation are available, with personal data suitably redacted to protect privacy.
