Subtitle
High-quality Mid-Century Modern pendant lamp with a solid glass ring and glass bottom – Germany, 1970s
⸻
Description
Offered is an exceptional vintage pendant lamp from the early 1970s.
The luminaire consists of a heavy, surrounding structured glass ring ("Eisglas") as well as a solid glass bottom plate with a characteristic relief texture. The combination of brushed metal, white enameled reflector, and thick-walled pressed glass creates a pleasant, warm, and even light.
The design is typical of the high-quality German lighting production of the late 1960s and early 1970s and is reminiscent of designs by Doria Leuchten, Peill & Putzler, or Glashütte Limburg.
The lamp is equipped with three E27 sockets, thus offering very good luminous flux.
