POLAND. Warsaw. 20 Złotych. 1981.
- Face value: 20 Złotych.
- Year: 1981.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA · 1981 · ZŁ 20 ZŁ with the national Polish eagle and the face value. Reverse: CRACOVIA · MONUMENTA POLONIAE URBIS CELEBERRIMA with a depiction of the Barbican of Kraków and commemorative inscription.
- Grading: PF67 CAMEO (NGC).
Commemorative 20 Złotych coin of the Polish People's Republic dedicated to the Barbican of Kraków, one of the most representative medieval defensive structures in the country. The reverse shows a detailed architectural depiction of the Gothic fortification, with towers and defensive elements rendered through a precise and deeply minted engraving. The obverse presents the national Polish eagle alongside the face value 20 Złotych, following the institutional style characteristic of the socialist era. A proof-quality specimen, with strong CAMEO contrast between frosted reliefs and dark mirror fields, excellent detail definition and minimal markings, in line with the high grade PF67 CAMEO (NGC).
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
